Kathryn Boyle

Kathryn graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 2000. Having spent her college years down south she returned to her home practice in the North West where she stayed for 14 years. Throughout this time she continued with the love for all things ophthalmology that had begun whilst she was at university.

Once her two daughters were at school Kathryn decided it was time to return to studying and went on to gain her ophthalmology certificate in 2018, having started working within an ophthalmology referral practice in 2017. Kathryn enjoys all aspects of ophthalmology, but especially the management of corneal ulceration and glaucoma.

When not in work Kathryn loves to travel with her family, particularly when this is combined with skiing. When she is at home she’s a busy taxi service for her teenage daughters’ ever hectic lives and loves getting out with her husband to walk their incredibly scruffy dog, Lottie.
