Payments and insurance

Insured Patients

Please check with your insurance company whether they prefer to accept claims via email, an online portal or via a paper form. If they require a form please bring the relevant claim form with you on the day of your appointment, as this will enable us to process your claim as quickly as possible.

Full payment is required following your consultation or upon discharge if your pet has been an inpatient for a procedure or surgery. Your insurance company will then reimburse you directly.

Direct claims can be set up for procedures or surgeries costing in excess of £500. An initial administration fee of £20 is payable and will not be reimbursed by your insurance company. A reduced administration fee of £10 is payable for continuation claims.

Direct claims can however take several days to arrange so may delay treatment if your pet requires an urgent procedure or surgery. In urgent or emergency cases we can attempt to obtain a pre-authorisation from your insurance company that a direct claim will be accepted, however if this cannot be obtained full payment will be required upon discharge of your pet.

Uninsured patients and out-of-hours payments

If your pet is not insured or if you are insured and attend the clinic out-of-hours a deposit is required prior to any procedure or surgery being performed. The deposit required is 50% of the upper range of the estimate generated for the required treatment. The remainder of the balance is to be paid in full at the time of discharge.

Payment plans and credit options

We regret that as a company we are not able to arrange any payment plans or credit options.
